MLB Shop: What Are You Gonna Wear? It’s Time You Get a New Look for the Opener

Pittsburgh Pirates opening day is just days away, so we must get you prepared.  We read this post from Kipper at Pittsburgh Sports Tavern and realized fans will be flocking to PNC Park in record numbers this year. My gorgeous wife heard me laughing at Kipper’spost and dropped a bombshell.  She asked the question that makes us shrug, ‘what am I going to wear?’  Ugh…a few hours later we have our latest post.

We know that  you rely on RumBunter for many things.   You don’t?  Damn, it sounded good to write anyway.

So here we go with our Countdown to the Opener Special.  What the hell are you going to wear?  You know you think about it.

We went to the new MLB Shop catalog. It has some nice Pirate attire, but just not enough of it for my taste.  But really, there is no excuse to wear that McLouth jersey at the Pirate blow out party on April 4 for   the opener. 

Cool. But not as cool as this…

Cool-est.  In case you didn’t know, before they were the Pirates, they were the Innocents.  The rebel league.  Check it out.  It’s good reading.

I own it.  Love it.  Banner ’47 rules.  Pricey, yes.  Comfortable as Brett Favre in Wranglers.  You can wear this shirt every day, nevermind… that’s just what I do.

I like it.  But I really loved the sweatshirt version of some other teams in that style above. Don’t know why.  Just do.     Ok, we admit, this Mets shirt looks good too:
