McCutchen Starts Against Reds, DY at Third for LaRoche

Daniel McCutchen will do his best to ensure that fireworks only occur after the game tonight.  The Pirates have placed Ross Ohlendorf on the15-day  DL retroactive to April 12.   Johnny Cueto is on the hill for Cincy.  He has been pretty impressive against the Bucs recently.  Cueto has four straight wins over the Bucs, throwing 24 innings, allowing 21 hits with six walks and 22 strikeouts.  But he has allowed a Pirates homerun in each of his last three starts against the Pirates.

The hot corner will be manned by Delwyn Young.  We haven’t heard an upate on Andy LaRoche and his back spasms which caused him to leave last nights victory against the Reds.  Its’ his jersey giveaway tomorrow for Family Day at PNC Park.   [Lineup from Rob Biertempfel]
