Cory Giger from the Altoona Mirror does a nice job on this video with Altoona Curve pitcher Rudy Owens It sounds like Owens understands the decision, but he was torn when asked about staying with the Curve for the playoffs or a promotion to AAA.
“AAA would be awesome and the playoffs would be awesome. It’s the best of both worlds.”
Owens pitched 124 innings last year. Currently, he has thrown 128 innings this year.
