Andrew Johnson and Cortland Finnegan don’t care for each other. I wonder if Johnson can skate? He would look good on the Malkin line. The Texans will be wrapped up with their NFL season in plenty of time.

The Pirates are looking for a bat in the middle of the lineup this offseason.  A big bat.  The Pirates are interested in investing money around a young core of talented offensive players.  All kinds of options have been thrown out there for the Pirates.  Some even consider moving Pedro Alvarez over to first base.  We don’t care for that option.  We have to believe Alvarez wants to improve his defense at third base and will work hard to do so in 2011.  He has continually shown improvement offensively and was destroying pitchers at the end of the 2010 season.  [...]
