Pirates Caffeine

Pedro Alvarez has got off to a powerful start for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Five wins?  Already?

That’s a great start in our book.  It was nice to see Overbay have a day yesterday.  The Bucs desperately need him to produce along with the RF platoon.

In an excellent video series from Peter Diana at the PG, Pedro Alvarez talks about moving every three months and his time in the bigs.

Now back to some not-so excellent quality, but excellent content–Pedro ripping a double..

The Pirates continue to swipe bags. Corey Wimberley had two, Jose Tabata had his third and Pedro Ciriaco got his second of the Spring.

Speedster Corey Wimberley has lightning quick speed on the basepaths.

Baseball Tonight took a look at the Pirates.

Really in depth analysis....

James McDonald will start for the Pirates against the Blue Jays on Sunday.  (We’re in Vegas, we have no idea what damn time it is…)

The following link is to a video of a dance group in France with one of the dancers wearing a Pirates cap. The Bucs must be hot if even dancers in France wear a hat.
