    New Pirates skipper Clint Hurdle likes what he’s seen so far this spring and is excited to help the team reach its full potential. Hurdle has introduced his patented “superman drills” (demonstrated here by Jeff Karstens) and expects the players to “leap buildings in a single bound” by the All Star break. Hurdle was less specific about the team’s record, however, promising only “improvement” and asking fans for their “continued patience and realistic expectations.”
