Spring Training

games are nearly over. The real pain is coming. Jeff Karstens is getting the start against the Twins today. Neal Huntington has him pegged as the emergency starter, but James McDonald seems to be getting closer as he fired a bullpen today in Bradenton. The Twins have Span in center, Nishioka at 2B, Well played Mauer at catcher, Morneau is at 1B, Kubel will DH, Young in left, Cuddyer in right, Valencia at the hot corner, and Casilla at SS. Left hander Liriano is on the hill.

The Bucs are using the DH today and have Tabata in left, Hometown at 2B, Cutch, Doumit will be doing the DH duties in the four spot after some hot hitting, Pearce will play first, Diaz in RF, Ronny at short, JRod at third, JHammer behind the dish.

We read on Twitter that some interesting names will likely head to Philadelphia to finish off the fake season. We picked through some to see Brian Friday, Anthony Claggett, Michael Dubee (which is very cool, he will get to see his Dad,) Benji Gonzalez who might have set a Pirates record with four errors in twenty minutes last Sunday, Josh Harrison, Jordy Mercer, and Starling Marte.

Claggett impressed this winter…

The Altoona Curve got their rings the other day.  The EL Playoff MVP, Justin Wilson discusses the fun…

Quincy Latimore is hard on himself. Love it.

The discussion about the Arizona Fall League is interesting and his advice for the future stars–“keep their head on straight…” (One painful part of the video is the first pitcher Brian names is Adcock, and then he hits it again…)

If you are into self torture…I made it to the 11:45 mark when Deion and Justice came running out. When is the 20 year anniversary of this, oh, yeh….nevermind.

NOW FOR THE FUN….SING IT WITH ME….’P’ ON THE LEFT CHEST…
