Pirates Caffeine: Reverend Ray Searage

The Reverend

The Pittsburgh Pirates links today feature a great story about the Pirates pitching revival done by Dejan.  Had to pull out the Horton Heat….have a great weekend, everyone.

“I think Ray deserves a good amount of the credit,” Huntington said. “We took a step forward right when Ray took over last season, and that’s continuing.”

The pitchers and catchers, those who work most closely with Searage, glow about his work and his approach.

“Can’t say enough about him,” catcher Ryan Doumit said. “He’s made a huge difference.”

We were able to observe the good reverend at work during spring training. People told us they liked this article.

Phillip Irwin keeps on impressing…he struck out ten in Bradenton.

The Curve fell back to .500. Tony Sanchez went yard. Starling Marte had two more doubles.

The Indians put up ten hits and got Rudy Owens another victory.

Today’s starter for the Cubs, Doug Davis, says it’s all a myth
