Steve Pearce had a solid spring training to make the Pirates roster.
On The Clint Hurdle show today, the Pirates skipper said that Steve Pearce is “not real well.” Hurdle said the Pirates will have more information later, but he added that Pearce might be able to pinch hit late in the game.
Pearce left the game yesterday in Chicago with soreness in his calf.
Tom Smith grew up in Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania. He has been a Pirates fan for a long time and his patience is wearing thin. Really thin.
