Pirates Caffeine: Charlie Morton Looks To Bounce Back Against Astros
By Tom Smith
Charlie Morton
looks to put his worst outing of the year behind him tonight against Houston. Back in early May, Morton allowed one run in 7.2 innings as the Pirates won 6-1.
Morton lasted just four innings against the Mets last time out, received very little help from his defense, and allowed seven runs.
The Electric Stuff will be up against a Houston team that is in a funk having lost six of eight on their home turf. It will be interesting to see him come back from a poor outing.
We really think it will be important for Electric Stuff to put that start in the rear view mirror. It says here Morton gets it done.
