Andrew McCutchen Needs To Be An All-Star

Today around lunchtime, the Major League All-Star team will be announced. The Pittsburgh Pirates Andrew McCutchen needs to be on the team. Just look at what he is doing in Washington DC.

McCutchen has gone 6 for 11 with three doubles, a triple, and a bomb in the Pirates Nationals series.  In the past 30 games, Cutch has an OPS of 1.040, he is slugging .583 and has an OBP of .457.

If not for an awful series in Cleveland, Cutch would compare better than some of the other outfielders on our short list. We look closely at the NL outfield and see Victorino, Upton, Braun (injury,) Holliday, Berkman, and the monsterous season of Kemp in LA.

McCutchen needs to be in that mix.
