Pittsburgh Pirates CF prospect Robbie Grossman is wrapping up an amazing season with the Pirates farm team in Bradenton. Just how amazing you ask?
A minor leaguer hasn’t scored 100 runs and walked 100 times in a season since 2004 when Nick Swisher set the lofty mark while playing in AAA ball.
Currently, Grossman has scored 105 runs and walked 94 times. The 21-year old has also struckout 93 times in 414 at-bats. It’s hard to imagine that he missed being named to the Florida State League All-Star team.
