Joel Hanrahan had some decisions to make last night. Just like a proud papa picking out backpacks for the first day of school, Pirates closer Joel Hanrahan was busy at Wal Mart finding some hot new backpacks for the rookies Jeff Locke and Jared Hughes to wear on their first day in the big leagues.
It was a difficult decision and apparently Hanranator contacted Jason Grilli for some advice.
