Pittsburgh Pirates closer Joel Hanrahan has plenty left in the tank, but his performance on the microphone was impressive. We could see Hanrahan being in television one day. He’s got the quick wit, insight and intelligence necessary to hold the attention of his audience. And just imagine the stories he could tell? Check it out:
Hanrahan was put in the difficult spot of deciding who he would rather face–the Brew Crew boys or the Cardinals deadly trio. It’s some good talk. The stats show he has been more effective against Corey Hart, Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder than Matt Holliday, Albert Pujols and Lance Berkman.
Our favorite part? We loved when Hanrahan said, ‘Holliday’s homer doesn’t count, I was a starter then.’
