Pittsburgh Pirates Robbie Grossman Turning AFL into Slow Pitch Softball

Robbie Grossman is dominating the Arizona Fall League

Robbie Grossman won’t stop getting on base. Grossman just won’t stop hitting. Another Arizona Fall League game, two more hits. Another walk to lead off the game. Another walk in the third inning.

It’s just… too. easy.

Robbie Grossman has a 1.104OPS.  Grossman is hitting .375.  Grossman is slugging .643.  He has officially become that monster that bats lead off on the softball team that always rips your team up.  You know exactly who I am talking about, and that’s Robbie Grossman in the AFL.

Surely there is something more difficult than this shit.

Grossman now has 21 hits in 56 at-bats. That’s good for first in the AFL.
Grossman now has four homeruns. That’s good for first in the AFL.
Grossman now has 36 total bases. That’s good for first in the AFL.
Grossman now has nine walks. Heh, that’s second in the AFL.

Pass the beer.  This is getting fun. And he hasn’t even hit AA yet?
