We think most of you know that we are beer lovers at this site. We like to drink. Of course, like most everything we blame Bob Nutting and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
For those of you that follow us on Twitter, you know that we opened a bottle shop and are head first in the beer business.
We have some great customers and thanks to them, we’ve done pretty well, but it’s rare. We’re lucky. The business, as a whole, is down. But the one segment that is growing is the craft beer market. It’s a special time for beer lovers as some amazing beer is being made right here in the U.S.
For those of you that are headed to Bradenton this year for spring training, let us direct you to a new spot that looks really cool. Little Giant Brewing.
Michael Wagner will be opening his brewery on 800, 17th Avenue West in Bradenton. It’s close enough that all of us can walk over from McKechnie Field after realizing the Pirates really don’t have enough starting pitching. Yeh, I will be there every day sipping on what I hear are some excellent beers.
The Little Giant Brewery will be the first production and distribution-focused craft brewery south of Tampa on the west coast of Florida. There will be a tasting room where pints will be flowing, and six packs we will be grabbing.
You should stop by too.
