The cardiac kids of Pittsburgh did it again with a 5-4 win over the Colorado Rockies. But the big story was Jamie Moyer. How does the guy do it?

He kept the Bucs bats off balance and gave up just one run as he scattered six hits over six innings. He chalked up three strikeouts and the Bucs showed some patience with three walks.

The It’s Only Been 16 games Bucco offense came to life after Moyer left after six sharp innings. The Pirates bats had five knocks and plated four runs in their final two at bats of the seventh and eighth innings.

The big rip came in the form of two out lighting when Casey McGehee had a sharp single to right which plated pinch runner Nate McLouth.

Always Smooth Clint Barmes doubled his season hit total with a solo bomb that tied the game at four. The Hanranator got his third save when he shut down the Rox one, two, three in the ninth in a very enjoyable save.

Don’t look now, but the Bucs have seven wins.
