The Pittsburgh Pirates received some good news today. Chase d’Arnaud who had been out with concussion like symptoms has been activated from the Minor League disabled list.
d’Arnaud saw considerable time with the Pirates last season after injuries to the Pirates regulars. After he tripled in his debut, he struggled mightily at the plate finishing up with a .242 OBP and at times seemed overmatched in the field.
He only played in two games for the AAA Indianapolis Indians this season with two walks and three strikeouts.
