Call it ugly. A trainwreck. Shit, go ahead and try to come up with something to describe it. We will just say that when Rod Barajas dove/ducked/slid/rolled and finally reached out to touch home plate, he was a tone setter for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Bucs would win 4-2 over the Kansas City Royals. Ugly is the new black and gold. And we just can’t stop watching the slide by Barajas. Unreal.
After the game, Barajas said, “it wasn’t a pretty slide. I just wanted to try to make him miss me. Anything for a run.”
Yeh, amen Rod. Amen.
