Luis Heredia was the man last night. It’s hard to describe how exciting it is to have a player that is 17 years old in the Pirates system. We thought he might get off to a rough start, but that was hardly the case.
He struckout four. He didn’t allow a run. He mixed speeds. He allowed one hit in four innings.
Tom Smith grew up in Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania. He has been a Pirates fan for a long time and his patience is wearing thin. Really thin.
