Pittsburgh Pirates Caravan Information

The Pittsburgh Pirates Caravan information was released by the ballclub today, it’s bigger and loaded with talented players. (and Alex Presley)

The 2012 Caravan will feature four separate groups of players and coaches traveling to events throughout the region leading up to PirateFest that will take place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center starting with a Season Ticket Holders only day on Friday, December 14 and then will open to the general public on Saturday, December 15 and Sunday, December 16.

Group 1

Featuring manager Clint Hurdle, outfielder Alex Presley, infielder Josh Harrison, first baseman Gaby Sanchez and broadcaster Tim Neverett.

PirateFest will take place during the weekend following the Caravan. Now in its 23rd year, PirateFest will once again take place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on Saturday, December 15 and Sunday, December 16. The interactive baseball carnival will feature free autograph sessions, youth baseball clinics, prizes, games, Q&A sessions with Pirates management and players, and much more
