Pittsburgh Pirates Sweep Cubs, Finish Off 8-2 Homestand (Video)

The Pirates beat the Cubs today by a score of 4-2 to finish off an awesome home stand.

Yes, they played three teams under .500, but taking three of four from the Brewers is huge. The Astros series was alright, and the Pirates had a tough time beating the ‘Stros in their two wins. But hey, as Tim Neverett said after their walk off win last Friday, “It’s not how, it’s how many.” Sweeping the Cubs was pretty cool, and it gave the Pirates an 8-2 home stand, which is great no matter who they’re playing.

To recap the series, I made a quick highlight video recapping the ten game home stand. Here it is, enjoy:

    Ha! Love it!

The only thing missing, IMO, was the shot of Cryin’ Ryan standing at 2B, hands on hips, eyes bugged out (as usual) after Cutch made that catch at the wall… heh.
