Pittsburgh Pirates Watch Party Will Be Inside PNC Park Friday

Pittsburgh loves a good party. The Penguins have hosted iconic ‘watch parties’ for years, and now the Bucs are going to host their second one, but this time it will be inside PNC Park.

It was just announced that the Pirates ‘Postseason Watch Party’ will be inside PNC Park tomorrow afternoon for game number two against the Cardinals Friday afternoon.

When the party was announced Pirates President Frank Coonelly said he was concerned about the glare on the screen.  In one big decision, all of that was cleared up.

Here was the Coonelly quote about tonight’s party on Federal Street:

"“This series promises to be another great chapter in this incredible season, and we want to ensure all of our loyal fans have the opportunity to be a part of the festivities, the electricity of the first postseason game at PNC Park showed how passionate Pittsburgh is about the Pirates and we want to give fans the opportunity to join together again to cheer on the team.” Frank Coonelly. Pittsburgh Pirates President."

We haven’t heard how many of the vendors will be working, but talk about a cool way to watch the game.  Good stuff Pittsburgh Pirates.  The Altoona Curve opened their ballpark for the viewing party tonight and some of the tweets, well at least the early ones seemed awesome.
