The Tampa Bay Rays host the Pittsburgh Pirates

The Tampa Bay Rays are the worst team in baseball.  That’s a sentence not many people would have believed at the beginning of the season, so I guess it should be The Tampa Bay Rays are the worst team in baseball???

The Rays are doing spring training drills in June.  Bunt sessions and focusing on fundamentals may have helped turn the season around for The Rays.  The club has now won seven of eleven after that horrid one win in fifteen game slide.

Whatever you do, don’t look at David Price as a reason for the struggles.  Price has at least 10 strikeouts in four consecutive games, but he only has one win to show for it.  (More reason to pay even less attention to the win stat)
