The Pirates set a PNC Park attendance record in 2014

During the Pittsburgh Pirates climb back into contention in Major League Baseball, PNC Park has become a popular place.  Really popular if you have been fortunate enough to attend a game in the past few years.

The boutique ball park that hugs the Allegheny River was built for just $270 million dollars in an amazingly fast 24-month work schedule.  The ballpark has been called the apple of baseball park lovers’ eyes.  The riverside concourse put it over the top making it a park that some have called one of the best in Major League Baseball.   ESPN.com even called it the best.

Over the years at RumBunter, we have written about PNC Park numerous times.  Last year after record attendance, we asked a tough question.  Is PNC Park Big Enough to Support the Pirates?

So what do you think?

Sports fans adore a winner and Pittsburgh is no different.  PNC Park is a good time when the Pirates are winning.  The beer flows, most of it really good beer too.

With the Pirates club loaded for another run at the postseason, the attendance record could be in jeopardy especially if the incredible sales force of the Bucs has anything to say about it.  With large numbers of fans comes the need for a place to enjoy a beer or two and the Pirates never want to disappoint and today announced plans for enhancements prior to the 2015 season including a bar for fans on the 300 level.

All of the details are available in this post including some great pictures in the video.
