The Pittsburgh Pirates post All-Star break funk continued in Kansas City as they lost two out of three games against the Royals. The Pirates then returned home for a four-game home stand against the Washington Nationals. The Pirates looked to bounce back following two consecutive series losses against the Brewers and the Royals. The team added a new offensive weapon before the series, trading for former Bucco Aramis Ramirez. Would the Pirates be able to bounce back against the first place Nationals?
