So of course, the Governor of Philadelphia Pennsylvania was in attendance.  What ensued as he walked to the microphone to pat himself on the back was hilarity.  Fast Eddie Rendell christened the ice after taking a phantom check from the hockey Gods and went down on all fours on the red carpet.
