I really believe McKenry had no idea about the curtain call. Watch closely. Lyle Overbay tells McKenry to get up on the steps. It’s nice to see Overbay using his veteran leadership to help the rookie.

As the Pirates bench erupts behind him, Clint Hurdle and the coaching staff are trying their hardest not to show up the Cubs with their casual pose on the dugout railing…, ohh what something cool happened?
