<p>Imagine our surprise when we were watching the MLB Network last night and the Pittsburgh Pirates came up as a topic surrounding the departure of Prince Fielder from the NL Central.  It&#8217;s rare the Pirates have a mention in national media, let alone such a bold prediction, so we will take it, even if one of the comments was, &#8216;heh, the wins have to go somewhere.&#8217;</p>
<p>Greg Amsinger was the person who made the prediction.  Former big leaguer Dan Plesac said he would go there if Pedro Alvarez has a bounceback 2012 season.</p>
