The Pittsburgh Pirates have made some pretty wild trades over the past several years. Getting Cole Hamels from the Philadelphia Phillies just sounds so hard to do.

It makes perfect sense: A lefty at PNC Park is ideal.

But getting it done? That’s another story entirely. Jay Jaffe predicts it will happen. The article has some wild predictions, and after letting it digest, we could see a few of them happening.

Just not the one Jaffe predicts for the Bucs.
