Bradenton Marauders stay hot

Low-A Bradenton remained hot on Sunday afternoon by defeating the Dunedin Blue Jays 5-4 in 10 innings. Improving to 13-8 on the season the Marauders were led by designated hitter Brenden Dixon who went 3-for-4 with a walk, his 5th double of the season and 3 RBI. Shortstop Tsung-Che Cheng was 2-for-5, also collecting his 5th double of the season.

Rodolfo Nolasco was 0-for-3 with a walk and a RBI. Jase Bowen, Luke Brown and Jacob Gonzalez all had a hit as well. Additionally, Brown and Gonzalez each were able to draw a walk at the plate on Sunday.

Joelvis Del Rosario started for the Marauders on Sunday afternoon, allowing 2 runs, 1 earned, on 3 hits, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts in 5 innings pitched. Johan Montero allowed a hit and walked a batter in 2 scoreless innings pitched.

Jake Sweeney struggled for the Marauders out of the bullpen. Sweeney allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in his 1 innings pitched. Carlos Lomeli then stepped up for the Marauders, pitching a scoreless 9th and 10th inning.
