Pirates Quincy Latimore Continues To Shine For Adelaide Bite

The Pirates are thrilled with how well Quincy Latimore is tearing up baseballs down under.

Latimore has been cruel to pitchers regardless what hand they throw with as he has destroyed southpaws (.381) and righties (.327)  this winter.

Quincy Latimore won another RumBunter player of the week after he had six hits in 16 at-bats this week for the red hot Bite.  He also walked four times, yeh, four times.  He drove in six runs and stole two bases.   He flashed some power with a double and a triple.

The big thing I noticed was Quincy was on base in all five games for the Bite who have won four straight games.

Latimore has some nice numbers down under.  In 99 at-bats he has 35 hits with seven doubles, two triples, and five homeruns.  Q has 61 total bases, eight walks, and has struckout 25 times.  He has stolen five bases and scored 15 times.

Looking at the league leaders in the ABL-Latimore is second in hits and triples.  He ranks third in doubles, slugging, average, and OPS.
