Sorry Redford There Is But One Natural, His Name Is Pedro Alvarez

pimps his new movie at Wrigley Field on opening day, we trust that Pedro Alvarez steals the show.  The most talented slugger to pull on black and gold since Barry Bonds will have high expecations placed on him from his very first at-bat this season.

Just as Pirates fans are counting on Pedro, the baseball card manufacturers are banking on him too. Pedro was included in one of the coolest card sets of the year– The Topps Glow In The Dark Stadium Lights set.   Without question, it has quickly become one of the hottest sets of the 2011 season.  Most collectors were forced to wait until this year for true Alvarez rookie cards.

The card is very cool. Pedro glows, the stadium lights glow, the logo and words stadium lights glow. But one of the really interesting parts of the card is the back where Pedro’s night statistics are listed.

You need one.
