All Eyes On The Return Of Electric Stuff Charlie Morton As Bucs Roll Into St. Louis
By Tom Smith
Charlie Morton
had a rebound offseason in Winter Ball and then exploded on the scene in Bradenton. Tonight Pirates fans will watch with fingers crossed, toes crossed, and some of you crazed bastards will be in the same underwear as yesterday.
Whatever it takes.
Charlie Morton is back on the mound.
Ringing Managerial Endorsement Or Just Sad?
"“Charlie pitched better than anybody in camp, and good for him,” Hurdle said. “That’s why the next step will be the more interesting step. The season will come and we’ll see what that brings. But confidence has been built.”"
We are big fans of Morton and believe he will bounce back tonight against a lethal Cardinals lineup, even if Matt Holliday is out with a missing body organ.

2011 Road Warrior Tour: Two wins
The Pirates suck in St. Louis. They were 1-5 last year. The win was on September 28.
Lance Berkman hits rather well against Morton. 5- for-6, two bombs, three doubles, two walks (whew, smart Charlie.)
Tonight’s starter for the Cardinals, Kyle Lohse struckout 15 in Spring Training and walked nobody. His ERA was 1.88. The story linked below has his new tattoo which covers the scar on his forearm-the first such surgery on a professional ballplayer.
The Pirates young guns will need to show up big tonight if the Pirates want to steal a win in St. Louis.
Lohse got lit up by some members of the core last year:
Pedro (4 for 7, two doubles, homer)
Jose (5 for 7, triple )
Cutch (4 for 9, two doubles)
GFJ (2 for 7, double, homer)
Buckle up for some offense tonight.
Anthem.
