Indians lost again to Columbus 7-5 yesterday.  Brad Lincoln gave up two runs on two hits including a home run to Cord Phelps, who hit two in the game for the Clippers.  Lincoln  pitched 4.2 innings and struck out two.

Cesar Valdez gave up five runs while getting two outs.

Alex Presley’s bat is hot.  Another extra base hit in a 3-for5 day.

Dusty Brown hit a bomb and was joined by Chase d’Arnaud and Pedro Ciriaco with two hits.

Andy Marte went deep for his first homer of the season.

Andrew Lambo struck out three more times and remains hitless on the season.

The Altoona Curve won a slugfest today against Erie.  Jared Hughes gave up three runs on six hits over four innings.

Starling Marte hit another bomb and had a double.

Tony Sanchez hit his first homer of the year and had two hits on the day.

Brock Holt had three hits.  Damn that is some great news.

Bradenton rebounded against Charlotte with a 6-3 win.

Brett Lorin threw three shutout innings.
