Another nice outing for Taillon

Pirates Caffeine: Taillon, Taillon, Taillon

Pirates pitcher Jameson Taillon lowered his ERA to 1.80, but got a no decision in his start for the West Virginia Power. Taillon went four innings with three strikeouts and allowed one earned run on a Drew Lee double for the Intimidators.

In the fifth inning, Tyler Waldron relieved the Pirates first rounder going two scoreless innings. Zac Fuesser also continued to pitch well with two shutout innings. The Intimidators second run of the game came off Brooks Pounders who allowed a solo bomb in the ninth.

Brad Lincoln continues to pitch effectively, not overpowering anyone, but still eating innings for Indy. He went seven, struckout four and allowed six hits.

Starling Marte just keeps on ripping the ball. He had three more knocks and stole his tenth base. Jared Hughes went seven, allowed six hits and one run. Tony Sanchez drove in two for the Curve and also threw out a runner in the Curve win over the Sea Wolves.
