Pirates Look To Continue To Make Mets Manager Terry Collins Drool

Now that’s good video from New York Mets manager Terry Collins, especially the lines about Pirates centerfielder Andrew McCutchen.

The Mets will send Mike Pelfrey to the bump today as the Fets try and earn a series split.

Pelfrey has not pitched well overall this season as his 1.46 WHIP would attest, but he did pitch well against the Phillies in his last start.  Pelfrey allowed just two earned runs, struck out six, and pitched 7.2 innings.

We all know the story with Paulie Maholm.  He has been lights outs as his 1.17 WHIP shows.  Last time out Paulie impressed everyone when he twirled a three hit complete game against the Cubs.

Don’t jinx the streak Paulie.

The Mets manager Terry Collins seemed rather disgruntled or maybe he’s pumping up his team, or just maybe that was drool when he was talking.  I don’t know the man.

But he loves Andrew McCutchen.

And why wouldn’t he?
