At the Florida State League All-Star Game
, the Bradenton Marauders Aaron Baker ripped a two-run homer that tied the game. Apparently, the shot was so impressive that even though Baker’s squad lost the game, he still was picked the Most Valuable Player.
Baker has been with the Bucs for a couple years now, this is his first season in high-A ball. He has started to hit for average this season and is producing when his teammates are on the bags in front of him.
There is just one part of his game that concerns us. The split.
Here are Baker’s numbers this year, including a sick lefty righty split
FSL All-Star recap
The young Marauders are 27-40 at mid season with some impressive individual numbers, a lot errors, and some mediocre pitching.
