Pirates Sign Jeff Clement: A Man Set to Prove Everyone Wrong

The Pittsburgh Pirates
signed Jeff Clement to a minor league contract today. Clement is a player that the Bucs simply can’t give up on at any cost.
Bringing him back on a minor league deal is very low risk. The Pirates and Mariners have been waiting for a number of years for Clement to break out, to prove to everyone that one of the top picks in the 2005 Amateur Draft isn’t a bust.
Unfortunately, on the field and around the game Clement is widely considered just that–the bust of the 2005 Amateur Draft.
Maybe this year will be the year. If there is one person that believes he can make you look like a fool for calling him a bust, it’s Jeff Clement.
