If you get a chance to listen to the Keith Law podcast, you should give it a listen.

Here is the link to the ESPN Baseball Today podcast with Eric Karabell and Keith Law.  The podcast is mainly a preview of the World Series with the Detroit Tigers and San Francisco Giants that begins tonight.  It also discusses the Miami Marlins and Ozzie Guillen mess before it delves into the Pittsburgh Pirates “mess” as Law tweeted.

Here was the tweet:  Baseball Today podcast – @karabellespn & I preview the WS with predictions, plus thoughts on Ozzie + the Pirates mess.

The discussion about the Pirates begins at the 36:30  mark.

The Pirates are called a laughing stock.

The incident about Jameson Taillon getting instructional league drills and the MMA training in which he hyperextended his knee.

Taillon said he never told his agent that he got hurt doing these ‘stupid drills.’

Law calls Gregory Polanco an under the radar prospect on a loaded West Virginia club.  He also questions how Bob Nutting can sustain the management team.  Don’t fill out the questions for the Pirates.  He says the Pirates are running real risks.  It’s some very interesting and damning information on the player development practices within the Pirates.

More not good information as Law says, we should be hearing from Bob Nutting because this damage is quantifiable.  Law says there isn’t a lot wrong in terms of talent level with the Bucs…enough said…

Go listen to it.
