Ken Rosenthal Isn’t Sold on 2013 Pittsburgh Pirates

Ken Rosenthal recently gave his two minute preview of the Pittsburgh Pirates.  It’s not real promising.  Rosenthal said the Bucs made one major move in adding Russell Martin.

He expresses concern with the rotation as well as the bullpen before throwing Bob Nutting’s proclamation that he isn’t going to tolerate losing anymore.  Amusingly, in the next sentence Rosenthal mentions that Clint Hurdle was given a new contract.

God, it would be nice if this losing streak ended so at least next season the beginning of all of the previews would say: The Pittsburgh Pirates finally did it….

until then, we get to enjoy these uplifting messages from ‘journalists’ who know very little about the state of the Pirates.  Oh well, start winning and all of this changes.  Until then, enjoy it for what it is.
