Gerrit Cole is a BAMF

The Pittsburgh Pirates had a B game against the Minnesota Twins.   The game ended in a 3-3 tie.  Some of the best young talent in MLB battled at Pirate City.

Mike Beradino who covers the Minnesota Twins was on the scene and captured some excellent video including Gerrit Cole battling with Byron Buxton who many view as the top prospect in the game.  The Pirates right hander gave up two runs on two hits including a home run and a walk in three innings of work.  Cole struck out four batters including Buxton twice.

The wind was strong during the game that started at 10am and could have helped the double and oppo taco homer that Cole gave up.  All of the Pirates runs came on a three-run jack by Brent Morel.

The game ended in a tie, but the Twins still got ice cream? What in the hell is going on with that team?
