I admit it.  What a brilliant idea.  Larry Jackson, CEO of Loudmouth Golf,  is a smart man.  Get John Daly to wear these cool pants.  The buzz will get going, and jackasses like us at Rumbunter will want to buy the pants.

It worked.

Hook.  Line.  Sinker.

Well, almost.  I am snagged on a log….

A big log called…check back later we restock.

Last time I checked, you don’t want anybody to ‘check back later’ in the business world.  Just let me buy my pants so I can make an ass out of myself alright?

So I go on to Daly’s site today to buy some pants.  Easy enough right?  I saw John rockin those bad boys and he played great.  Surely, it is the pants and it will help me do the same.

But what in the world?  Out of stock?  Fair enough.  I thought I would just get them a little longer.  Nope.  Out  of stock.  Ok, let me try the other pair….ugh…you guessed it.

Ok, make a note here Loudmouth Golf, John did his job.  Now please get some pants in stock.  Until then, we will continue to play like loudmouths and not look like loudmouths.

Thanks for the letdown.  Thats all I wanted for my birthday today.

We trust you have some new material in stock and someone is sewing this week, hell this very minute!  I really don’t think it is going to get any better for Loudmouth Golf this weekend after JD tears it up this weekend.  (God forbid when he gets back to the states)

For this weekend’s preview read on please…

The Hole with the Best Scoring Chances?

Number 18.  A straight par five of 559 yards.  JD will drive this in two all weekend.  It’s the putter that will be his challenge.  But if that starts to show improvement?  WOW.  I can see a few eagle opportunities.  Then I can see ome major storylines next week in the States.

Putt for Dough:

If he gets the heavy putter going.  Lights out... [NEW PUTTER FOR JD ]

"Long John Daly tamed his short game over the weekend as he wielded a Heavy Putter MID-WEIGHT K4 blade en route to finishing tied for second at the European Tour’s BMW Italian Open. Daly closed with a 66, prompting him to remark via Twitter, “Funny how they actually start talking about my game and not my pants today.”PutterZone.com has been taking note of the Heavy Putter’s sudden rise through the professional ranks…. “it is starting to gain tour traction.” Bernhard Langer used a Heavy Putter protype to win the Champions Tour’s Legends of Golf a few weeks ago, while Fabrizio Zanotti used a Heavy Putter to finish second at the Open de Espana last week. Heavy Putter’s hot streak continued this week in the hands of Daly. John Daly’s putter, the Heavy Putter MID-WEIGHT K4 by Boccieri Golf…. In an earlier review of the K4 model, PutterZone.com concluded that “it offers traditional beauty with an innovative edge, and will particularly appeal to golfers who seek a stabilizing influence on their stroke.”"

Player to Watch:

Padraig Harrington – We were almost positive he was on Sport Science with a Happy Gilmore swing that proved it gains you 15 yards on your swing.  Anyone see it?  All of the golf writers consider him to be the favorite this weekend.  I don’t.  Sure he can make the low, pounding iron shot and get it to run, but so can someone else I know.   And he is never out of stock on that shot.  EVER.
