a lot of great stuff from mainstream today, unless you are buying into the hype of Chris Snyder has some pop in his bat, Paul Maholm wants to stay in Pittsburgh, and all of the stories about Clint Hurdle.

Speaking of Snyder, we read the Speed Issue of ESPN last night and found out that Chris Snyder is the statistically speaking–slowest man in MLB.   Nice.  But speed is overrated of course was the premise of the article.  It was if they felt bad for calling Snyder slow.  It’s ok man, it’s a fact.  Anyway…

Well it appears Jose Veras has the team made when you listen to Hurdle.  He also said we didn’t bring Joe Beimel here for a tryout.  No bullshit from Clint Hurdle–sorta nice for a change, huh?
