Matt Diaz

is talking about who is showering with on Pittsburgh radio. He doesn’t recognize many of them.  Yes, it’s a freak show in Pittsburgh.

Charlie Morton goes tonight for the Bucs. He is 2-0 with a 2.84ERA against the Astros this season. He allowed just one run in a victory on May 7.

Bud Norris faced Morton that day and strucki out nine Pirates going seven in the defeat. Norris whiffed ten Red Sox while firing a one-hitter. But then the wheels fell off in the seventh inning. Let’s trust that happens tonight in the first inning.

Andrew McCutchen has reached safely in 18 straight games.

In the last eight games, the starters have a 2.29ERA.  They’ve allowed less than two earned runs, it’s just unreal.

In the last seven games, we talked about this in the interview with Sports Buzz in the post below, the numbers are sick… .367Cutch, .348Walker,  and so many more like 29 extra base hits in the past nine games.  Nuts.

It’s exciting times in

Pittsburgh

.  BucTown!
