What was that performance last night by the Pirates? We missed the game because we are in DC, but damn. We heard Bedard looked as good as one can look against the O’s until he hit the wall around 75 pitches.

Did anyone find it interesting that Neal Huntington said the team would wait until the final game in Philly to make the final cuts while Clint Hurdle said the team will have the cuts wrapped up before they leave Florida. What the hell is going on?

A.J. Burnett throws in a simulated game today. Jeff Karstens also will pitch in Pirates City.
