Pittsburgh Pirates Announce All You Can Tweet Seats

The Pirates announced All You Can Tweeet Seats, we’re not sure we qualify with tweeets like these…

The Pittsburgh Pirates have a pretty cool idea–The All-You-Can-Tweet Seats.  The Buccos offical twitter account sent out the link to an application this morning.  We checked it out.  Here is what we discovered on the Pittsburgh Pirates website:

"What’s up, #BucsNation?  Want to guest tweet an upcoming Pirates game from a great seat at PNC Park?  Throughout the season, we’ll be selecting our best tweeters to come out and tweet LIVE from a Pirates game!  Fans will enjoy great seats and tweet commentary from their own Twitter accounts.  Throughout the game, the ONLY updates coming from the @Pirates account will be retweets of our guest tweeters! That means YOU are the official play-by-play tweeter for your Pittsburgh Pirates!  Apply today for your chance to call the action!"

The questions are easy and straight forward.

1.  The team asks what your twitter handle is.

2.  The Bucs ask why they should choose YOU to sit in the All You Can Tweet Seats.  Respectfully, they ask for you to keep in under 500 words.

3.  Why do YOU love the Pirates?

The answers today could be really interesting. It’s hard to love a team that is hitting this poorly. The situation is compounded because of the historic losing streak, but heh, this is still a cool idea.

If I could honestly love the Buccos today, I think I would apply.
