Benstonium does it again with their new release Pittsburgh Pirates/Breaking Bad mashup entitled “Breaking .500.”

The Pirates are one-half game behind the St. Louis Cardinals in the NL Central after the Red Birds were blown out by the Reds last night.

The video starts with the infamous Sid Bream slide which was the final game in the run of success for the Bucs in the early 1990s.  The team is now mired in the longest losing streak in North American professional sports history.

Benstonium does a tremendous job of working Breaking Bad clips into the Pirates 2013 season highlights.  It’s tremendous.  ‘Fear is the real enemy’ is a great line in the beginning of the video.

The franchise is the buzz of Pittsburgh and with the acquisition of Marlon Byrd, who hit a three-run bomb in his first game as a Pirates player last night, the team is preparing for a weekend series against the Cards which will determine the NL Central leader heading into the month of September.
