Low-A Bradenton rolls to an easy victory
Batting leadoff left fielder Luke Brown was 1-for-3 with a walk and 2 runs scored. Rodolfo Nolasco was in right field and went 1-for-5 with a RBI double. Designated hitter Jase Bowne was also 1-for-5 with a double, driving in 2 runs.
Second baseman Mike Jarvis was 2-for-5 with a RBI and 2 runs scored. Shortstop Tsung-Che Cheng was 2-for-4 with his 8th double of the season and 3 RBI. Juan Jerez went 3-for-4 and stole a base.
Joelvis Del Rosario started for the Marauders and went 5 strong. The righty allowed 3 hits, walked a pair and struck out 7 while pitching 5 scoreless inning. With the outing he lowered his ERA on the season to 4.01. In three starts in May Del Rosario has allowed just 3 earned runs on 9 hits, 5 walks and 16 strikeouts. He has pitched 5 innings in each of these starts.
