UPDATE: Daly Shoots 69, Finishes Three Under

John Daly fired a final round 69. You can access his interview after the round by clicking here.  He talked about his double bogeys yesterday.  Getting up and down on each of the seven greens he missed, his battle with the putter.  Being behind in every category and how he loves his one and two hybrid, feeling better

SaturdayDaly is back to even par heading into Sunday’s final round.    He sat at four under par through the first nine holes of his third round.  The back nine is where he had two double bogeys, destroying my dream of a top 30 finish.

John Daly shot two under par on the European Tour, Open de Espana making the cut in a competitive field. He has some work to do to catch the leader, but Daly is the king of comebacks.

A Top 30 finish would have to be considered a miracle.

Daly looked like a Steeler fan at a Preseason game today, sporting some sweet pants from Loudmouth Golf.  Check out JohnDaly.com if you want to rock these pants this summer. A portion of the proceeeds go to charity.

Daly is always helping someone else and it finally looks like he is helping himself. He will be playing four rounds for the first time since November. We have been following him on Twitter and it certainly appears that all is ‘grip it and rip it’ for Long John.

The fifty-five pound weight loss actually makes him look much better off the tee. I can’t remember when he looked this trim?

How happy do you think the PGA is right now? Are their fingers crossed? I doubt it.

Ours are.

From What Would Tyler Durden Do, the Iron Shiek was on Oppie and Anthony.  He was really relaxed while he drank his King of Beers.  Whew, just glad he didn’t have Bob Backlund in the Camel Clutch right?
